Climbing Mount Triglav 2864 m
Triglav with its 2864 m is the highest peak in Slovenia and the highest peak in the Julian Alps. The name is due to the shape of the mountain, as seen from Bohinj. The three heads can form the Mali Triglav, the main peak and Šmarjetna head. On the north side lies the the Triglav glacier. Triglav is a central part of Triglav National Park.The north face of Triglav is the highest cliffs od the Julijan Alps. Above Vrata valley it dominates almost 4 km wide and 1 km high cliff. The first ascent of Triglav was in August 26, 1778 resolved of four locals from Bohinj: Luka Korošec, Matevž Kos, Štefan Rožič and Lawrence Willomitzer.

Meeting point: Valley vrata in the morning or by appointment. The selected participants agreed path.
Possible are two variants.
1. variant, very difficult path:
The path of Tominškova on Dom Valentina Stanic (2332 m) where we spend the night. (Time walking 6-7 hours, difference in altitude 1580 m)
2. variant, very difficult trail (ferata):
We will set the climbing route Pekel to Dom Valentina Stanic (2332 m) where we spend the night. (Time walking 6-7 hours, altitude difference 1580 m)
Waking up at 7 am, after breakfast we set off on demanding routes through the Rž (2538 m) past the home Kredarica Triglav (2,515 m) and after a very difficult path to the top of Mount Triglav (2864 m). At the top followed by compulsory babtism alpinist , taking pictures and longer rest. The descent will be a very difficult path to the Dom Kredarica, followed by a descent past the remains of the Triglav glacier valley as. Timewalkig 5- 6 hours, altitude difference 5320 m and we will do 1914 m descent

advice end preparing for the tour, the tour is guided by the Guide of Alpine Association of Slovenia, rent any missing technical equipment.
Price does not include:
transportation, 1 or 2 half board in the cottage for guests and guide parking fees and expenses of a personal nature guided. Total costs amounted to approximately from 70 to 100 € per person and depend on the number of days and number of people.
